Pregnant from CBD oil? I’ve known for a long time about my difficulties in getting pregnant, 15 years to be exact, that is, since I had my first period. The gynaecologist told me that I was suffering from polycystic ovaries, that I had several cysts on my ovaries. At the time, I didn’t worry too much about it. I was 12 years old and, as with all girls of that age, my “concerns” were different.
Then I started taking the pill as a prevention, like many other girls… Doctors should know how to listen. Of course, taking the pill only worked for a certain period and I started to skip it more and more often.
The desire to have a child, to become a mother, came to my mind when I was 18 or 19 years old and I was living with my old boyfriend. At that time the words of my gynecologist resounded painfully in my mind, because I knew that it would not be easy to get pregnant at all. I was puzzled by the accuracy with which I could remember those words. However, it remained only an idea, confined to my imagination.
I kept taking the pill and at the university the girls envied me because I didn’t get my period, even though it made me feel strange. Once again, the pill was the solution. According to the doctors it is the only possible solution (and it will probably be for a long time to come because, after all, the pill is a big business).
The change: the return to nature
For almost a year now, I’ve decided to go off the pill altogether. Of course, I almost never got my period. At first I didn’t worry about it so much, in fact, it was almost pleasant. The problem was that something inside me kept telling me it was wrong.
Will CBD hemp oil help me too?
At the time I had become aware of CBD hemp oil during my travels abroad, where it is very popular (I lived in Canada and Germany for several years). In the autumn I started using 2% hemp oil (initially 2-3 drops in the evening), and then the same dosage twice a day. I then switched to 5% CBD oil (2 drops in the morning and 2 in the evening).
I did not expect at all what happened afterwards! For the first time in years I had my period without taking artificial hormones, and the following month it was the same… Also, two days before I had my period, I knew it was coming. I felt great. I went to buy toiletries and shared my happiness. I felt like I’d never felt before. Those who haven’t been through it will hardly understand…
CBD oil: first disappointments and first surprises
My enthusiasm lasted only two months. The third month I was simply happy that things were going the way they were supposed to, but … NOT ACCADE NONE. A week, two, a month went by…I kept taking the CBD drops, slept better and was less stressed. They were also a good method of disease prevention and an anti-inflammatory.
Two weeks ago I had to stop several times to rest during the day, even during work, and at home I had to lie down, which is definitely not like me!
When the nausea came on, I took a pregnancy test.
It was positive!
The visit to the gynaecologist confirmed it and I couldn’t stop laughing thinking how angry I was at the thought that my reproductive organs had decided to stop working again. I was nine weeks old.
Slowly the nausea began to come more and more often and the sense of tiredness became heavier.
Even though the little bean in my belly was something totally unexpected, I can’t wait to see her with her daddy.
